There is a young couple who got married for a few years, the wife, Susan, who is a successful career women and the husband, Mark, who is a high ranking officer in the Air-Force. One day, Susan was feeling uncomfortable with her eyes and the next moment, her vision went off and was very shocked. Knowing her situation, Mark brought her to the doctor immediately to check what has actually happen to her. After several checkups, the doctor then realize that they made a mistake during her past checkup as previously she had some visual problems. Because of improper treatment, it causes her to lose her sight. As this incident was a sudden for her, a successful women end up becoming blind, she couldn’t take it but to lock herself in the room shouting and throwing her temper to everyone that were around her, including her Mark. Mark did not give up on her but continuously encouraging and giving her all his support.

Until one day, the wife finally simmers down and told Mark that she wants to go back to work. Mark fetched her to and fro from work everyday and make sure tat she reaches her office safely before he headed to his workplace. The journey between Susan’s workplace to the military side where Mark is working at is way too far apart and it is pretty tiring for him to do this forever. Mark thinks that Susan has to stand up on her own and try to go to her workplace herself instead on relying so much on him.

Though this thinking came into his mind, but he does not dare to tell her because he’s afraid that imaginations will run wild in Susan’s thinking due to the sudden incident which had already shocked her life. But he finds that Susan should actually accept this and be much more stronger than she used to be, so one day, he sit beside her and tell her that she have to get up on her own and be strong and start to travel to work herself instead of relying too much on him. When Susan heard this, she got so agitated and she scolded him, saying that he does not care for her and love her anymore. When Mark hears those words, he got so upset and depressed, just like hundreds or thousands of sharp edges sword had just pierce through his heart. But nonetheless, Mark does not let her words affect him that much and continue support her and give her the helping hand that she needs. So Mark told her that he will company her to take bus from their home to her workplace before heading to work.

For the two solid weeks, Mark, wearing his uniform, held her wife safely and carefully, waiting for the bus, boarding the bus and company her all the way to her office and ensures tat she reaches her workplace safely. He also introduce the bus captain to his wife, seeking help from the bus captain to tell her where to alight and what to do n stuff when on bus and also teaching her how to make full use of her other four senses.

Finally one day, Susan hugged Mark tightly with tears flowing down her cheek, thank him for everything he did and told him that she's ready to get to work on her on
Though the journey was long, Susan doesn’t give up but constantly trying her best to get to work on her own. As time goes by, Susan is getting used to it and is able to travel on own safely. She was so happy and starts gaining back all her confidence. It’s been a week plus and everything seems to be going on smoothly for her.

So one day while she’s boarding the bus which she always takes to work, the bus captain suddenly says:
"You're sure a blessed and lucky lady."

Susan was rather curious who is he actually talking to, so she decides to reply back:
“Why is the lady lucky?”

"There's a very fine and young handsome looking guy, wearing an Air-Force uniform, always stand at the opposite side of the road/ bus-stop. He will ensure that this lady will board the right bus number and make sure that she board it carefully, then after he saw her boarded the bus safely, and look at the bus drives off, he will then give a ‘fly-kiss’ to the lady and salute to her before he went off."
The bus captain replied.

When Susan heard it, tears flows down her cheek continuously and she finally realize that for this past one week, Mark had been looking upon her like an angel looking by her side, ensuring her safety before going to work. She got so touched and felt so bad and sorry for those mean things that she had said to Mark previously. And from then on, she realizes that she was the luckiest and blessed wife/ women in the entire world.

Moral of the story:
Love is not a word that comes out from the mouth, but an unconditional love that is expressed by actions from one to another…
